311 in San Diego 08.19.2011

Last weekend I flew up to San Francisco to shoot a ton of cool bands who's energy was amazing and palpable... and it was amazing. Last night that same amazing energy came from two bands Sublime with Rome and 311. Unfortunately the traffic getting to San Diego was so bad that I missed the first 3 songs to shoot Sublime with Rome. No worries there... i'm shooting them tonight and tomorrow night as well. I did however shoot 311. And if you've never seen 311 before, they're like a musical defibrillator. They make you come alive with their music and last night was no exception. Check out my photos from last night's show below!

two months too late...

I haven't posted in 2 months and it's gotta be longest unintentional break in blogging that I've ever taken. But i've been super busy and that's no joke. Been shooting like crazy... but if you follow me on Facebook you probably already know that. long story short... i should be better about constantly posting photos. that being said, here are some of my favorite shots of each artists i photographed at Outside Lands this past week.

Left Long Island to hit up the city... met up with Jessica, Jessica, and Claire. We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, ate at Grimaldi's, and had ice cream. Then i met up with Carly to so we could head over to Shiller's in the East Village to meet up with Ryan, Evan, Guerin and his new band called Me Talk Pretty. T'was a good day.

LAZY WEDNESDAY

After a redeye flight from LAX to JFK you can't help but feel lazy... so Ryan, Evan, Shermanelli, and I just hung out poolside listened to Ryan do some mashups with the DJAY app on his iPad and had some good burgers... tomorrow Manhattan. But for now.. enjoy this little video.
