After going to Almost Acoustic Xmas last night here in Los Angeles it reminded me how much i love seeing bands perform. but really do i need that reminder? i go to shows all the time... tonight for instance i am going to see MEW at the Henry Fonda. The beauty of an external hard drive is, or at least in my case, is that i throw so many photos on it that i almost forget what's actually on there. So when i go back and sift through all these photos i have saved on the harddrive, it becomes kinda of like a treasure hunt minus the map with "X" marking the spot, the khaki pants, and dark caves with cobwebs...

in any case these photos are 2003.
i was still shooting in film and learning the ropes...
i'm still learning the ropes... but more so then.

Music is what i need to keep my sanity

i love music.
i love taking photos.
when i combine the two "i am captain happy!"
(not as cool as captain planet, but you get the picture)

On Wednesday i made the small journey to see 311 in Temecula and boy was it a great show. Songs that i haven't heard in a long time were dusted off and played for the world to hear. if my eardrums were capable of movement they would have done back flips because of the excitement.
