New (non) Jersey (Shore) and DC

New Jersey was a great little town... we loaded in and jammed the night away.

Then we headed down DC for a house party. Thanks to Jen Miller for throwing it together on short notice.
It was a surprise to run into Nate. Nate hired me to shoot his wedding in Cancun in March... man it was good to see him.

Next day we painted DC RED... and by "Painted DC RED" I mean went to every possible monument and basked in the history.

I'm too tired to type... so i'll give you the bullet points.

CHI-TOWN

Saturday October 16, 2010 marks the day I finally visited the fair city of Chicago. I've only seen Chicago through the magic of television and with the help of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Perfect Strangers , Adventure of Babysitting, Family Matters, Married with Children, and the list goes on. As soon as we got out of the tour van, i took out my camera and started shooting and made this stop action video...

It's safe to say that i'm having a blast and i really owe it to Toy Bombs and EYES LIPS EYES for giving me this opportunity to come along on this adventure. Chicago was a blast, but i'm convinced that it wouldn't matter which city we go to... if I'm with these lads, nothing is boring.

Minnie-Apple-Us

It seems like we were in Minneapolis a month ago but it was less than a week ago... Traveling has been wearing me out a bit, but each city and has been reenergizing me and giving me more to look at and more to shoot. i have to admit that i am losing track of the days... but my cell phone and computer keep reminding me of the date and time... so i got it covered.
before i go on taking you an a literary journey of what my scatterbrain is thinking, i better just quit typing and just let you see what happened.

Paul and Spencer. Paul became our instant friend when he chimed in seamlessly when we were all improvising and talking about shotguns and Texas rattlers in our hick accents. Paul wanted a photo with Toy Bombs in the background... how could i say "no"?

Minneapolis was a pretty cool town. For some reason i never give these towns the benefit of the doubt, and each city we visit always proves me wrong. I'm glad i'm visiting these areas and discovering that there are cooler towns other than LA, NYC, and DC.
